Anybody Recognize These Wheels?

A friend of mine has some MBZ wheels that he's looking to sell for $400 (for 4), but I don't recognize them. I have an 84 300TD Wagon that I'm looking to put them on, but I want to be sure that they will fit before I get serious. Also, he says that he's 99% sure that they're 16" wheels.

Also, $400 seems pricey. Anybody agree?

They might have an MB bolt pattern and hub diameter but those aren't OE MB wheels.

Ask your friend if there are any markings on the back that provide width, diameter and offset. On MB wheels this information is stated something like 7J16H2 ET25 where 7 is the width, 16 is the tire diameter and 25mm is the offset. Also compare the hub diameter, the hole though the center of the wheel, at the mounting face (ignore any chamfer) with the corresponding flange on your car. It should be a snug fit.

Great. Going to look at them tonight. Last thing I want to do is get stuck with some wheels that don't work.

I'll post markings tonight after I've seen them.

Lorinser Knock off. Check the ET and they will say what size they are inside the on the hub that the center cap covers. If not there look on the back of the hub. Sometimes the et is stamped (as a ref. )16mm.
I don't know the correct offset for a 300TD, but it's ET11 to ET25 for the 126's. Bolt pattern is 5 X 112

There are 3 of those wheels w/o the center caps at my local yard. Not perfect though, but not quite my taste.

The only thing worse than 3 of those wheels is 4 of them. At least with 3 you aren't tempted to put them on your car......

I've got 4 of these (with caps). Chrome is peeling badly; I need to have them stripped and refinish (prime & paint) them, or just sell them. Anyone interested? $75 would make me happy... I have too many wheel sets as it is. And yes, they are NON-OEM wheels (knock-offs).

$75 including shipping to the UK? Lol, I can dream.

I'd love a set of those for on my black 126!
