i'm switching from alloy bundts to steel hubbies on my W123 this winter. i'm wondering if the lugs are interchangeable or if the lugs have to go with the wheels. thanks!

Steelies use shorter lug nuts.

If you use the bundt wheel lugs, they may tear up the inside of your parking brakes.

how about steelie lugs with bundt wheels?

The lugs cannot be used on rims other than what they were designed for. This means the bundt rims need the bundt lugs, and the hubcap rims need the hubcap lugs. You cannot interchange them.

makes sense... i was going to remove my steelies and throw a set of bundts on while i was re-finishing the steelies and hubcaps to keep the car off of stands
