I think 18's would cause too much stress on a suspension designed for 14" rims, you could cause extra stresses wearing out suspension coponents early.
Why not look for a nice 16" package, or even 17". 18" tires get way up in price over 17's... Plus I think those older benzes look good with 16's or 17 max. But this is just my opinon. others will probably tell you something similar about suspension wear/stress from the plus sizing of the 18's. Alon
