Stock tire size for c230

Hello i got a 1998 c230 and it came from factory with steel rims 15".

I don't have the steel rims anymore i got factory alloys with 205/60/15

What i was wondering is what is the stock tire size if the car came with steel rims.

is it 195/65/15 or 205/60/15

Thanks
and i did search but i couldn't find the answer i was looking for

Your car could very possibly have come equipped with the bundt alloy wheels. A little research with your VIN will tell how your car was equipped. Either way, the wheel size is 14X6.5 on all four. 205/70X14 is the correct tire size. New steel wheels are available, but hub caps are not. One option you might consider is going to a 15X7" steel wheel and hub cap. All of those are available new. In this case you would use a 205/65X15. You'll have better tire choices in that size, and you'll get a little bit better ride and handling. This is the size on the 560SL. You'd have to look twice to tell they were 15". Just drop me a note at work for further discussion.

I think it is 195/65/15. Did you try it? In my opinion it is 195/65/15. I am wondering why would you use the 205/60/15 it has a steel wheel.
