Will these fit a 123

I found this picture on Craig's list. Seller doesn't know what they came off. He only lists them as 16x7.5. Can anyone identify and predict if they would fit a 123?

You have to have a "ET" number, for us to tell a bit more, but by far the best way to check is to try one on the front (either side) and see if they clear the tie rods. Remember that each rim has specific lugs and most have center caps that are also specific, so without those you have to buy them and lugs from the dealer can run $7 each.

Thanks,
I called the guy and the offset is 41. Turns out he owns a 123 and they don't fit. Thanks for the reply. BTW, he has the center caps and wants $200 for the set of 4. Since I can't use, I'll pass along the link:

ET41 is too high for a W123. Largest I've tried is 16x7 CLK wheels, ET37. Even with that there were minor limitations (balancer weights, tie rods, center cap and lug bolt issues).

I would think they will work with spacers and longer bolts.

Maybe, but I wouldn't try it.

I just don't trust them. I also have no desire to use later wheels on a W123, due to their looks. I will probably go shopping for some 15 inch bundts when I get tired on trying to find decent 14 inch tires.

My 1984 300TD has CLK 16x7s on it. They look good and work fine. There are some pics in my gallery if you want to see what they look like.

I looked for you in the gallery and only found two pictues of an SEC. I must be looking in the wrong place. Got a link? Any modifications to use the CLK wheels such as spacers or lugs?

I was considering removing that trim and the drip rail and getting it powder coated, then reinstall over fresh repaint of the entire car.

Back to the wheels: spacers required or any other modifications? My other option is to paint the bundts black except for polishing the high ribs and mounting ring.

They just bolted right on without further ado. Actually, Johnhef put them on before I bought the car from Donny (Dogchow).

. . . .
You could PM Dogchow for details on the paint and bodywork. He did all of that. I bought the car from him.
