I woud like to take a moment and thank Luke @ Tirerack for his recent help with my new wheels and tires. I have been talking to him off and on since I purchased my 500E in june 01. He has always been helpfull even though I was not ready to pull out my credit card and make a purchase at that time. His advice on my purchase was very helpfull. I now own a set of AMG 170' in 8.5 x 17 with the Dunlop SP 5000 tires. The capper came when I placed my order to coincide with the return of my car from the body shop.
I was told that the tires wouild not be shipped until Dec 6th at the earliest. When I told Luke my story I received a call back that they would expedite the order for me. I am right now looking at my beautiful new wheels in my living room. Unfortunately that body shop is not as efficient as Luke, my car will be at least one more week. Also Luke, the close up shot of the wheels at your website does not do these wheels justice. They have a polished lip of almost 3 inches which was exactly the look I wanted. I can not wait to bolt these on and go toss my baby into a few corners.
