bundt cake wheel and tire for my cargo trailer

Hello,

I have a 6x12 enclosed cargo trailer, and I do not want to buy a spare for it. I am not cheap, but I have a few MB tires and wheels sitting around.

So, can I use the following for a spare for my trailer. Anyone know?

trailer is ST205/75R/15

I have bundts in 195/75/14, AND 205/65/14

Weight might be an issue if loaded, but to get to the next town, would it work nicely or not.

Thanks for your input. $130 bucks for a tire and wheel at Northern Tool seemed a little steep.

I would doubt that your trailer wheels are 5x112 bolt pattern, the only two manufacturers who use it are VW/Audi and Mercedes. That would be your first hurdle if you wanted to use it as a spare.

Some vws have the same 5x112 boltpattern --but i have no idea if they had a solid rear axle instead of independent--an axle could be found in the boneyard easily-if they exist.

Not to mention we are comparing a 14" to a 15".
Load carrying capacity?

Dont try to reinvent the wheel so to speak.
Get the proper trailer wheel and tire and be done with it.
Check craigslist and ebay as parts pop up all the time.
