W124 Wheel

I'm slowly putting a 88 300E back together and after getting the body work done I'm going to be looking at a Tire/Wheel Combo from Tirerack the particular ones I was looking at were the 18x8, +35 offset Elbrus I06 and 235/40/18 tires. Vehicle has not be lowered as of yet, but I would like to do a 1.5 inch drop using Eibach springs.

From what I'm reading rolling the front fenders is going to be must but the last thing I want is the combo to be sticking out of the wheel wells looking goofy any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks.
