frankengrant, three things are critical with lug bolts: diameter, seat contour and thread engagement. Verify that the diameter and seat contour of your lug bolts match the stock bundt wheels. Place a lug bolt through the hole in one of your old loose wheels and measure the length of the bolt that protrudes beyond the back of the wheel. Do the same for a loose bundt wheel. If there is less thread projection it would be best to purchase longer lug bolts. If there is more thread projection there may be interference with the emergency brake mechanism on the rear wheels, so you would need to purchase shorter lug bolts.
MB dealers sell lug bolts. It's possible that the lug bolts are too short for your current wheels, but OK for the bundt wheels. Ask the Parts Department rep the length of the lug bolt specified for bundt wheels and compare with your lug bolts.

Also don't let them sell you the wrong bolts! Steel wheels have shorter length bolts - the alloys have longer ones.
