Need help identifying these so I can find 2 more

The owner of the property where my boss rents his shop recently suffered a break in.The biggest loss came from his storage shed where he had several sets and singles of rims and tires left from his car dealer days.
He was warned the theives often come back for "seconds" so he let me have the remaining 2 16" 8 hole chrome wheels that were left. They are 16X7 with 225/50/16 tires on them. There is no ET marking I can find. They are supposed to be from a 140 chassis S class but I can't be certain this is correct. They have what appears to a 1996 manufacture date?
Were there different varities and offsets of this style. My plan is to locate 2 more and put them on my 74 450SL.I need to know what to look for to get a matching set.
The person who gave them to me said I might need to run a thin spacer on the front to avoid interference with the calipers? He said there were no trouble installing them on the rear.He has a 450 SL with these same rims but it was in another area unaffected by the break in so his set is still intact.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. My chrome 14" bundts are looking pretty bad! These would be a nice upgrade if they will work.

If they are geniune MB wheels, there will be a part number and offset info on the back of the wheel.

Otherwise, they are likely copies. Copies were/are made by many different companies - some decent, some horrible. Try ebay for matches.

W140 S-class wheels are 16x7.5 ET51. But the current tires on them make me think theyre from an R129 which means theyre 16x8 ET34. The W140 wheels have a satin polished finish, the 129 just has it in silver.

Not sure what the R107 SL can fit but they fit lower offsets like ET15, but i could be wrong. If he was able to fit it with a thin spacer then its most likely the 129 or 124 500E wheels

hope this helps
