w210: anyone run 245/45/17 & 225/50/17 tires?

im gonna take my tire size up a notch mainly due to the monster truck gearing the mercedes has as well to protect from rims from potholes. has anyone ran 245/45/17 for the rear instead of the 245/40/17 and 225/50/17 front intead of 225/45/17? im pretty sure everything will fit ..jsut wondering who out there has done this?

car is a 1999 e300td

Won't harm you. Just make your speedometer inaccurate by a few MPH. Nothing major.
