Friend of mine is selling me a set of 2001 C230 rims for cheap. Would it fit a 84 W201?

The part # of rim in my car is 201-400-12-02 i.e. 6x15ET49
The C230 is 203-401-03-02, i.e. 7x16ET37 with 205/55R16 tires.

The bolt pattern is the same, the offset is different. Would they fit?

Yes those should fit just fine based on the width/ET. You might need shorter lug bolts, but you will have to see, sometimes stock lugs hit the parking brake assemblies in the rear when using wheels other than stock.
