wheel size?/alternatives

i have a 1984 190d which i believe should have been fitted with 15``wheels this one has 14 with 195/?/14 tyres which model could they have come off ?,.also i believe wheels from a ford granada has the same pcd as the merc has any-one ever tried to fit some,i am quite happy to stick with 14inch wheels as the tyres are a reasonable price to replace.
