Tire recommendations for MB E320

Good day.

The time has come to replace the tires on my E320. NTB are advertising 2 free tires with the purchase of 2 new tires, these being Doral SDL, the only ones in stock.

Has anyone here used these tires? I'm more inclined to go for Michelins which have served me well on my older E300D.

Any recommendations?

I've had too much good luck with Michelins that I don't consider anything else for high end purchases. They balance well, don't fall apart, and don't dry rot as quickly as some others.

2X,

I purchase the Michelins @ Best Buy (Costco lookalike) and have never been disappointed. Fair price, very good value.

No opinion on Doral tires.

Good Luck!

Never cheap out on tires, buy only well known brand names, not some China crap they push on you at Les Schwab. For my family cars I prefer Continental ExtremeContact DWS, but any of the other big named performance all seasons, Michelin, Dunlop, Goodyear, would treat you well.

Thread hijack notice: I am ready for fresh rubber in the spring. Are the DWS quiet, good road manners etc? They would be a summer only tire.

I have heard that they are a bit lumpy first thing in the morning after they have flat spotted overnight???

Ditto. I got Michelin Primacy MXV4 tires from Costco. Their out-the-door price was less than the TireRack price delivered to my door.
