I thought you really couldn't push past 17x8 with running into some sort of problem, but in the BBS catalog or if you goto their webpage, it says the BBS PL Deep Rim 536 will fit the 190E w201 in 17x8.5. Is it an error, cause BBS doesn't seem like the kind of company to make mistakes. And if so, then what is the widest tire size I could drop on the wheel, would I finally be able to stuff 235/40/17 on the car with no rubbing because I finally found a wheel with the proper offset?!?!

Luke, it looks like I need your answer.

We do not even carry a BBS wheels for the W201 190E so, I can not be of much assistance with your search. There are several wheels which BBS produces for race applications that are not available to the general public (including The Tire Rack).
Sorry, Luke
