SL320 18's On A 190e

I recently bought a set of 18x8 front and 18x10 rear rims for my 190E. They were on a 1995 320SL and I want to know what I have to do to make them fit without rubbing. The rear tires are 275/35/R18, and the front I'm not too sure about, but I am guessing they are 235/40R18...any rubbing with my stock 190E? I am willing to do whatever it takes to make this work, but I need some proffessional feedback. Thank you in advance!

Well to start, I'd say you need to put them on the car and see if they will rub without driving it.

If you are willing to do what it takes, Try Evo II Body kit. that will make the fenders able to accept bigger rubber.

I think the next step is to see if spacers are needed for inside clearance from the struts to the wheels, and when turning for the fronts.

But I am no expert, thats just my opinion on how it could work.

To make those tires fit on a 190E, deff EVO II Kit, the cheapest ones are from erebuni.net go for about $2850.

The rear wheels are just to wide. Also, the tire sizes are wrong. The proper gear on a 190E Evo II kit is 285/30/18 rear, 225/35/18 front. Takes alot of $$$ to make this work, as well as a good professional body shop. If you want to stay all original MB, nrauto has a kit for $3950, plus a good MB body shop would probably ask $3-5k for it to be put on right. Just being honest and upfront about costs.

Might be able to get the same looking wheels, in 18xs all the way around and a slight fender roll.
