W126 87 300SDL will these wheels fit??
Looking to buy some mk5 Jetta 17" Karthoum wheels they are 7" wide and have a 5x112 lug pattern. Have some 215/50R17 tires to put on them that are only .12% smaller in diameter than the stock 205/65R15's that are on there.
Question is will the wheels fit?? These are the pics the seller sent me

I believe the flange the hub sits in on a VW wheel is either too big or too small.

VWs use a 57.1 mm centerbore
Google seems to say a W126 wheel would be a 66.5 or 66.6 mm centerbore. So the VW wheels would need to be machined. If you find wheels with a centerbore bigger than the mercedes centerbore you can get hubcentric rings to make up the difference.
