strong rims

I will at Tax time purchase 18" wheels for my 99 S320.I want the tire circumfrence to be 26.9 + or - .4 .I want strong rims as my stock 16s,have one wheel with almost 2 inches of runout standing up as mounted.
What are some brands that are good rims.I've seen where Chinese rims fly apart.

you must mean wheels. Motorcycles and bikes have rims.......

Have you looked at oem Mercedes wheels that will fit your car?

Most of the time the circumference of the tire did not fix properly and this common problem we saw often. To get rid from this problem you must verify it earlier.

what? I had a 1999 mercedes s320 stock rim bend almost with 2 inches runout.So I'd like to get stronger wheels.Could be 16,17,18,or 19"s.
To Bad I can't use a ML wheel.if anything I'd like the new tires and wheel circumfrence to be a little larger than stock. As I run nitrous and slowing it down would help traction.

That is a problem.

Perhaps change your driving style, not your wheels.

Aluminum breaks don't it. Maybe other size wheels are stronger.

not really, unless you spend stupid money on a set of OZ racing wheels or something that is for the track.

Mercedes OEM wheels are strong, only other option you could have is put some bolt holes in a billet of aluminum and slap a tire on it, then you wont bend a wheel.

The wider the rim the more chances of bends ,if you ask a rim repair shop you could probably get an answer on what rims to stay away from.

Well if you want a really strong wheel get a 48h G sport ratchet laced to any 48h G sport rim. That would be one of the strongest or if you want to by an off the shelf wheel get the g sport ratchet rear wheel super strong. Fly also make good rims!
