185/65/15 88Q on W124?

Hey everyone,

I've got a set of snow tires that I've used on my 190E 2.6 in the past and I'd like to move them over to my 124 300D 2.5...

They are a bit narrower and have a lower weight rating.

I figured I'd ask here first and see what the verdict was, so what do you guys think?

The size is the base model W124 tire (200D/ 200/ 200E) although i'm not sure about the load.

You shouldn't have any problems as long as you are not loading the car and trunk too much. If its just you, ok.

In Snow,at SLOW speeds

I'd not be Too worried.

The Sidewall Strength and Temp Rating differences are what would prevent me
from using them...
Snow HERE? 'Last in 1989.

I'd be driving on the freeway/turnpike so speed limit is 70mph. I tend to keep to that but most people enjoy passing me on the left AND right.
