Does anyone know these wheels?

Hi,

I have found these wheels on e-bay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1710681164

I've never seen them before, and I'm not sure if they are 'real' mercedes wheels. If anyone has any info on them, and what model they are off, it would be appreciated.

Thanks

2-piece Lorinser or maybe Centra wheels?

Never seen any factory MB wheels look like this.

Can't say I've ever seen them, and I pay attention to wheels. I am confident they are not a genuine MB wheel.

The alloys available from stock on MBs throughout the eighties were fairly tame and limited in range. Mainly variations on the 15 hole theme. In fact I think the only alloys offered by MB were two versions of the 15-hole wheel. Both were 15" in diameter. They were optional on W201, W124, W126 and standard on the R107. They were standard on the R129 when first released.

Then in about 1992 (?) the 8-hole style became the house style. Only with the advent of the W202 did MBs start to come with a wider variety of wheels (Elegance had a variation on the 8-hole theme, while the Sport had 5-hole wheels until 1997).

They look really fake to me. The finish looks too cheap.

Unique

Rather unique. I'm not sure of the exchange rate but the shippng would kill me since I'd need to put use to them in California.
