Is there a sticky for a crossreference on wheels?

Is there a list somewhere showing which wheels fit which car. It looks like a lot of them have the same bolt holes but with different offsets.

If there is a good one it might make a good sticky.

From what I've heard there is one year Mustang wheel that will fit close enough.I believ 36et offset for w126,an w123.w140 stock wheel 51 offset,if you want big meats 35 et or a little higher.

Hi
I have been looking on egay for wheels and notice that a lot of them use a number like ET40 or something. I understand offset but are they talking about 40mm to the outside or inside of center?
Thanks

its from the center line of the wheel.ever here of centerline wheelsthey are made to the center of hub'a offset of zero on our cars would push tires past outer fenders. While a 60 offset would rub the springs.so if I want 11 inch wide tires I'll need a 35 offset.
