What is widest tire I can put on my '82 300CD without any rubbing?

Hmm, I assume without hammering (modification) on your fenders and the right wheel offset, should be 215 (front) and 225 or 235 (rear) at the most.

For 6.5x14 (widest rim for a Bundt 14) should be 215/70. For a 7x15, should be 225/50.
