450sl wire rims
Does anyone make a nice set of wire rims for a 1980 450sl that does not need a boat load of adapters and off-sets?

My 450SE had some on it when I bought it. I was told they were made by Dayton Wire Wheels in the late 70s and are a true spoke design but didn't have the knock offs and bolted on (5x112). The only marking on them were the size 14Jx6. They appear to be 0 offset and fit with no problems. I have also seen a couple real knock-off wire sets from Mclean but I don't think they are produced anymore for the MB.
I took them off because wire wheels are a royal pain to keep clean. I broke a spoke on one wheel going over a pot hole and now it won't balance so I removed them. Once in a while Ebay has some.
