S-Rated tires on W123?
I don't usually install snow tires on our 85 300D, but I saw a set of Goodyear Nordicas for sale for $60! Used of course, but they look good. Problem with these, is that they are S-rated. I think the W123 should have T or better.
What do you think about using the S-rated tires as winter tires?

They're probably a lower load range as well. Something to keep in mind if you fill the car with people and things.

Thanks for responses.
The tires are Goodyear Nordic and are rated 91S. Used on several smaller cars. We would mostly use these in winter around town for at most 2 months of year. Very little highway driving. I will need to check manufacture date. Treads look OK, but need to measure them too. Price is so low, I am a bit suspicious!
