trust me - those tires will make you hate your life, you will need the headgear that helicopter pilots use and forget about traction in any condition.

When I bought my old W124 it had walmart Goodyears on it, the noise was defeaning and the traction was that - if you sneezed and I drove by - the moisture from your sneeze would cause them to hydroplane (on a 133 hp diesel) - tires had all the tread too.

Ha that's pretty funny and colorful way of describing those tires. Lol

I have 3 primacys that r 20% and one bald Pirelli. They are still smooth as silk and traction is still decent. I am prob gonna keep the 2 better michelins and buy 2 new ones to match for the front. I can get em for about 280 mounted and balanced after tax at my fave tire joint.

I will then replace the 2 rears in a few weeks. Cash a lil tite right now after the 2k I have recently spent on my car.

I still have a glowing srs lite to deal with and the occasional CEL that is a p0400 code I think it's egr related from what I remember

The 65k mile car needs a rear window regulator as well

Fun fun

Well I could not bring myself to stroke out $600 bucks for a new set of Michelins so I thought I would give Kumho a try. My brother bought a set for his Audi a8 and has been happy so I gave it a shot. For roughly $400 these tires have a deep and interesting tread pattern. They do ride good but definetly a little firmer than my worn out mxv4's BUT the most important thing is they are very quiet and are so smooth. I went straight to I-75 after installation today and got her up to 95mph and they tracked dead straight and not the slightest hint of vibration. Very pleased! Now lets bring on some more GA snow!

These are my new tires

I got caught up in that crap Tuesday leaving Chattanooga to get home to Dalton before it got bad...Geez my 30 minute commute turned into 3 hrs. I ate a Xanax I was so wound up. Sittin on the freeway dead stopped for over and hr at a time with bald ass rear tires was a lil worrisome to say the least. It was just a dusting of snow but it only stuck to the 10 degree road and became slick as owl sh**....people were trying to drive 70 mph passing all of us driving 45. Then traffic would halt and low and behold I would pass the idots in a guardrail ahead. Also collecting 2 or 3 other with them during spin out! Most of the people had northern plates. But they don't get the fact GA doesn't do sh** to the roads in preparation for snow. Nothing ! Im sure you can run 70 in Michigan in light snow.. The roads stay treated! Then Atlanta looks like idiots another year in a row with snowmagedon...People sleeping in their cars overnight because they could not get home. Cars abandoned along interstates and side roads alike....Elderly walking 5 miles with inadequate clothing and a lady having a baby in her car..Geez Im sorry were we talking about tires?
