Anyone here have any 8 hole 16 inch rims in good condition for sale??These should be for a 300E body and model year 88.

You may try Chirag(Charlie Patel)he had a nice set for sale recently.I dont know if he still has them or not but he may have what you are looking for.He is very knowledgable and he is honest.The wheels can be viewed by going to the post titled Real AMG Chrome Monoblock II"s 17"with tires and was posted by ntheblack on 3-24-02 in Wheels and Tires. See the reply that Charlie gave to him on 3-25-02 and then scroll down further to see the wheels/tires that Charlie is selling.

Nah, I still have them. They are 16x7.5 ET 40. I have all the lugs too with many to spare (thanks Luke), and the caps. Also have a 5th wheel with a slight bend, great for a full size spare, its really not that bad at all. Why I haven't been so active in selling them I dunno, just too lazy to type them up on ebay I guess :p But anyway, If by Mid April they aren't gone...probably going to dismount the tires and wheels, and sell them seperately.

Well they are listed on Ebay, tried to do my best and describe all the flaws (curb rash, everytime you look at it, it annoys you) so hopefully the discounts seem right.

The Wheels are in one auction, Tires in the other. If you want both, lemme know, We'll prob work something out.

I see that you're in Toronto too. If you haven't bought your wheels yet, I have a set of four 16"x8J ET36 8-hole alloy wheels for sale (they're actually Borbet Replica-2). I'm sure many people will agree with me that the quality of Borbet rims is quite good because they're made in Germany

Also, the wheels have almost new (85% tread left) Dunlop W-10
215/55/16 performance summer tires mounted on them. These alloy wheels came off my 88 300E, so they'll fit your 88 300E too. Please note that these rims are 8" in width, so they'll give your car a wider stance. With 215 tires, you shouldn't have any problems with rubbing, even if your car is lowered (like mine). I originally had 225 tires on (that's why I got the 8" rims), but they rubbed too much, and that's why I changed to 215 tires.

The rims and tires are in perfect condition. Bolts and Mercedes-Benz center caps are included.

Reason for selling: The 300E was sold and they won't fit my 95 C280.
