Why would anyone pay money for the sport package over the REALLY cool limited edition package that is free?

The Sport package offers the 17" package and the body work, but thats it. I do agree, I like the special edition, but I would get the 2001 SLK 320. They always offer the Special edition package at the end of a model's life. I like the 2-tone leather. We were going to get it in our 190E in 93, but we decided it wasn't worth it.
