Wheel/tire combo for 91 TE

7 1/2 X 16 ET41
215/55-16

Will this combo work on a 91 300te?

Offset on the wheels should be fine.

Tires should be ok. but most will use a 205/55/16 or a 225/50/16 tire.

But the 215 should work out ok. I believe michael has 215's on one of his cars.

Not sure about them, my guess would be they will rub under load. Its a pretty tall tire.

It'll scrape, but only rarely-I have a set, and have run lots of sets on my 3 W124s; I own a set and run my 215-55-16s on my wagon because it rides the highest/has the most clearance. When they're gone, I will replace them with 225/50-16 H-rated tires (likely Michelin) like on my D. If you go with a firmer V or Z rated tire, the transient response will be tippy and less than desirable. Or find a V rated, touring tire.
