18" rims and tires
I want to put 18x8 et35 and 18x9 et40 with p225 40 R18 on my 1983 300d. Will these fit? Also, will these fit if I lower the suspension too? How will it look??? Anybody have this setup???
Thanks!!! |

I had some brabus 19s I restored to flip ,out of curiosity I mounted them on my 300cd . The backs were fine but close ,most likely the frts are going to be your biggest obstacle,it was for these 19s .I was going to ride on them but you need a really tight frt end to do so ,their is alot more struggle for the frt suspention to deal with when putting more meaty tires and rims on the ground.I would say for looks and you have 2k to blow you should be able to find a set that works .I would spend some time at a tire shop looking at what they can offer ,discount tire carries some rims. They will give you advice but go to the senior tech .

I believe that the W123 came with 16s stock, so throwing on some 18 inch rims will greatly change the ride quality and offset the braking because of the extra weight. If you're doing it purely for aesthetics; know that you won't be the most comfortable ride and you'll likely need some spacers. Just my two cents...
