I have discovered an excellent wheel refurbishing company for those in the UK. It is called Pristine Wheels.

For £85 + VAT per wheel they will refinish your wheel and Mercedes-Benz will guarantee it for twelve months against any mechanical or finish defects. If you want all four wheels doing, and don't want to take your car off the road for a week or more, they will take your wheels in exchange for other refurbished wheels, and again there is the same 12 month guarantee. All Mercedes-Benz dealers in the UK now use this service. The service manager at my dealer told me the finish is excellent; he showed me some wheels just in and the finish was very good.
