Kuhmo Ecsta 712 - so far so good

These tires are very nice. They handle great, they are very quiet, have good wet traction, and I happen to think they are great tires.

I would definately buy these again when the time comes.

They track beautifully, they ride smooth, they don't feel at all harsher than my 16" setup before with contis, and they really make quick turning crisp.

I was a bit skeptical as I have always used tires that are household names, I.E. Michelin, Bridgestone, Continental etc, but I am very impressed with these tires.

The appear to be quieter than my dads 18" pilot sports on his SL600. They in fact tome make no noise, of course I don't have the rear wheel bearing noise anymore, but I can't even hear these tires making a sound. Just quiet driving when the radio is off.

Thanks to tirerack's great reviews ont his tire, I bought them, and I am pleased with them.

I would recommend these to anyone looking for a performance tire that is on a budget. $100 give or take a tire is an excellent price for a tire that feels and drives as these do. Especially in a 17" Size.

I also really like the tread pattern and the sidewalls look great.

Alon

Ashman,

The next time you're knocking around the car, would you mine examining these tires to see if they have radial mold marks. That is, where the flashing of rubber that seeped out of the edges of the mold leave a tiny sliver of rubber showing, are they radially across the sidewall of the tire? Sometimes it is very difficult to find them.

In some of the picture ads I can actually see the marks, but I have been unable to see them on Kumho pictures.

I keep seeing and hearing good things about these tires, so I am very curious about the mold type.

I'm glad they're working out for you.

Have a great day,

Thumbs up

These tires indeed are great! One thing I really like (other than thier performance) is the little "lip" that extends out to protect the the rim from minor curb rash.

Good buy. Much better than the Yokohama Paradas I had before.

I agree.

Khumo are good value for the money. I've had
one winter on them and they do perform quite well for
an all season radial.

795 Touring A/S

is an all season radial by Khumo. However, that
particular tire may not be available in the United States.
Check with your local distributor.
