1996 w210 E300D which other man Rims question
W210 1996 E300D
My car has separate spring and shocks front and read.. not the struts of newer years. My rims are looking a little played out. Online search seems to indicate the offset is 37... but I've heard the diesels have bigger brake calipers AND this is a 96 and I think they used stuff/tech from previous generation. I've been looking on Craigslist and found some 2004 Audi A6 wagon rims correct bolt pattern, but will they fit around the brake calipers? Will I need bolt spacers? Will they hit the springs? Audi stock rims are available in my price range. There are also a few after market sets available... do they generally have more space for calipers and such? There's another set of 'AT italia wheels for sale . The wheels are 16x7 & bolt pattern 5x112' with an offset of 35 |

Chris, refer to the Owner's Manual for the specified wheel size and tire size for your 1996 E300D.

I'm concerned with things like offset and hitting brake caliper size. In particular the audi wheels would look nice. |
