1985 300D / 16 x 7.5 wheels / H&R "Trak+" Spacers
Anyone have any experience mounting 16 x 7.5 wheels on a w123?
I found this little measurement table, but it's written up for the earlier W123's, 1976-1979... Mercedes-Benz W123 Sedan phase-I 1976-1979 rim dimensions Is there a difference for the 1985 300D? Assuming i made the proper offset adjustment, i'm hoping this means the 16 x 7.5 wheels can be used. I'd like to be able to use 215/55 tires and 205/55 tires. 215's in winter. Also, has anyone ever used the H&R "Track+" spacers? They seem to solve the problem very well since no custom/strange size bolts are needed, and i believe one can get them in any size with 5mm increments. The wheel mounts to the spacer, and then the spacer mounts to the axle. Rather than needing bolts that run the perfect length through everything all at once. |
