How to raise rear end?
Would like to raise the rear end of my 200E (W124 1991) 1-1,5 inches.
Am thinking to replace the original, standard springs with springs of a 260E or 300E model. How much difference would that give? Cheers PS Don't want to replace the rubber inserts, difference would be too small

you would be surprised, you can go from an 8mm to a 23mm which is a good 15mm. Then again, probably taking springs of an 400E would raise it a good bit as well, but throw the car's dynamics out of balance.

pad thickness
Try putting thicker pads in the back, and thinner ones in the front.
i know someone posted the part numbers to all the pads. It's probably the cheapest solution Later, Austin

WHY? This will make your car handle poorly, will cause misalignment and tire wear problems.
Have a great day, |
