Question S class wheel for SL car

hi,
i know that AMG wheel for S class car has high offset ie 40+. i wonder if it is possible to use use spacers to reduce offset to 20 plus to fit r129 SL? anyone has experience with spacers and will it afftect the tire balance.

Unless if the spacers are hub centric, I would steer clear. Nothing but bad news.
