w124 spare tire tools? for sale? anyone? anyone? bueller...bueller...

wondering if anyone has or knows where i could find spare tire tools, etc....

The PartsShop or Caliber Motors (1.800.CALIBER). Don't purchase them individually, get the entire kit.

You can also get the W140 kit that comes in a plastic case that fits into your spare-tire. The only thing that doesn't fit is the "tire mounting guide-pin).

I believe the W140 kit in the circular case is about $60.

The tire guide-pin is about $7.

SilverStar or Potomac German Auto has used kits for about $35-40.

Boneyards never have them, they are usually long gone.

I got a W124 set + leather owners manual case on eBay for $29.99. Local dealer quoted $90 for the W124 set.
