w210 4matic wheel/tire question

hi , just got in almost new 2002 e430 4matic , sending back '99 c280 sport , and i have extra set of dunlop snows - 205-55-16 - on borbet type 'e' 16" wheels . the e430 wears 235-45-17s. are the 16's do-able for winter on this car? pls advise , thanks!
