I think McGards are good. Your local Benz dealer will carry them or contact www.tirerack.com for a set.

McGard is an OEM wheel lock for Benz. If you purchase them from Tirerack, it should be the same except for the price, the nice star engraved on the key, and no tiny storage bag for the key.

mushedroom,

Yes you MUST use their lugs (don't use your OEM bolts) and NO you don't have to buy their lock nuts.

You could buy the Brabus lock nuts or just take your new Brabus bolts and measure it. Determine if it is a cone or conical seat then get the thread length. McGards should have the correct lock nut to match your needs.

why do i necessarily need to use brabus lugs?
please inform a newbie brabus owner...
thanks
(i bought these used so i didn't get the whole sales spiel at the time of purchasing....)

also are the brabus locking set better than the others...
my cousin does all of brabus' sponsored cars sound systems so he gets me deals on everything....

Brabus lugs are recommended because it has the correct fitment, i.e., the lugs seat properly and the length does not go into the brake/hub area.

The place that installed my wheels used lugs w/ the proper fitment but I do not recall if they were "Brabus" lugs. I do remember that the shop had to cut my OEM wheel locks' length by about 1/4" to fit.

What jeneric21 said...I didn't mean you have to use "Brabus" bolts, but rather the correct seat and bolt length.

No I'm not running on Brabus but I assume all new wheels (especially the tuners) come with the proper bolts so there is no guessing. Since you bought it used without the bolts, have it measured or use your contact to get the right information or just get the Brabus bolts.

I highly doubt the Brabus bolts have any logo (probably just a regular bolt but shinier than regular bolts) but rather just the correct specifications for the specific wheel.

If you can get a good price then just get everything Brabus. You can tell everyone you have Brabus bolts and locks

Good luck. Make sure you use the correct bolt or else you'll learn the hard way that it's wrong.
