C230 Tires

I am about to install the third set of tires, replacing a set of MXV4 Energy's, that I am pretty unsatisfied with. (205/60) Basic problem is high speed instability. Car wanders noticeably at high speeds (greater than 75) and is very sensitive to cross winds at highway speeds. Nervous handling might be a good way to put it. Have had the alignment checked several times, and the front wheel bearings are toleranced correctly. Beleive the front end is acting "OEM", but I may be seeing a bit of old fashioned sidewall flex. After a review of OEM sizes available, I think for the money I'd like to go with with either a Dunlop SP5000 or SP A2. They may both work OK, but I would be curious as to how these two compare in design intent. I am after stable high speed stability, and am willing to concede some wear for it. although I'd like to have decent treadlife and low noise....(yeah I know you can;t have it all.....)

Both seem to be good tires...How do they compare....and which is likely to be the more stable at high speeds? Any other recommendations for high speed stability?

TIA !! dave

do yourself a favor and take a look at the Bridgestone Turanza LS-H tires when compared to your Michelins... better ride quality, better warranty, better handling and steering response, with a lower cost
