shift knob
Does anyone have a newer style shift knob (with MB star in the center)or know where to get one-besides the dealer. I have a 94 C280 and would like to upgrade.
Is it true that the shift lever itself has to be switched out also? |

The bottom piece turns/twist to unlock. It is hard, but it will come loss. I have replaced mine twice.

Mac10,
I just went with the old style shifter. This is the shifter that I'm selling: It's in used condition but looks pretty nice. I'm asking $40 plus shipping. Let me know, if you're interested. Regards, Don

You have to call them up or get a catalog from them in order to find and purchase the item. I did it to my W124 and now I can fit any of the new knobs. |
