Well, I finally got around to putting the new Revos on my '80 300SD. The opinion is that they ride harder and are somewhat noisy compared to the Michelin Energy MXV4s I used to have, but I'll get used to that over time. The Bridgestones have the best wet traction rating possible which is what I was shooting for, as I tend to get caught in horrible downpours while travelling on the freeway between here and Cincinnati. I'll keep you all updated as to how they fare during long distance Autobahning!

Should have gotten the MXV4 Plus. Best touring tire ever made.

I had the Energy MXV4s on it before but I was hesitant to spend $400 on another set of tires since the body on the car probably won't outlast them. I ran the car up to 110mph yesterday and they seemed to do pretty well at that speed with very little twitching, etc...Of course the MXV4s are my favorite but for $120 less I think I did ok.
