Tallest tire for a 123?

I found out my speedo is @3mph fast at 60mph (buddy who is PO followed me to confirm. I can live with it for now but would like to "correct" for this with taller tires when the time comes. 195/70-14's on it now. I believe that a 195/75-14 would put the speedo dead on. Alternatively I am considering going a little taller for a little more gear on the highway. So what is the tallest rim/tire combo with the same basic width as stock that will fit on the car? I don't mind a little wider but not if they will rub. Oh yeah, not interested in 17" or larger, I don't even really like 16's..... Thanks, RT

Well I run 205/60/15's and I think they are even smaller than the 195/70/14s. However they look the same.

I would try 205/70/14's if you wanna keep the bundt wheels. I wanted to do that but mine were so badly pitted that I just wanted to throw them away.
The best would be to find the 14x6.5" alloys from the 300SD's and early SL's (380SL's 450's, etc.)

I have 15x7" Replicas from Tire Rack styled after the W126 and R107 and W124's 15"wheels...
Being 7" wide, I was thinking of using 215/60/15 tires or 205/65/15 tires ...
However I settled for the recommended size..
