Well, I have just got in contact with yet another Mercedes owner that has had the same misfortune as some of us. He too has been burned by "Al," the same guy that sells sub-par rims on ebay, usually claiming AMG's but sending cheap knockoffs instead. This fellow victim and I are contemplating possible legal action, so if anybody is interested please email me at bn108@hotmail.com. I'm not sure of all the details just yet but it's definitely a start to put this loser to justice. THanks.

Hey all,
Just as an update from the last "saga" of my never to be seen AMG Monoblocks, this is what happened since the last post... Since Al seemed to care that his reputation had be marred on MercedesShop.com, he offered to replaced the rims that were sent to me (there were replicas and damaged and not the genuine AMGs). I sent them back with a $150 shipping fee that he said he would reimburse. After that, he claimed the rims were damaged beyond what I told him before. He said this would not interefere with the transaction at the time, but in a later email, he told me that it would take time to resolve the damages before he would be able to send them. Pure BS but anyway, I have only gotten responses once in a while and now, I haven't recieved an email in two months. Right now, my parents have spoken with the lawyers and we are putting together some kind of legal suit against him but this will, of course, with all legal matters, take time. In the meantime, I will be purchasing my rims and tires from a reputable nonrisk establishment like Tirerack. Until I get my money back, Al ripped me of not only 1500 hard earned dollars, but almost half a year in frustration. I hope this helps in your decision to ever purchase from this horrible person, and I hope you take better precautions while dealing on Internet auctions sites. Thanks. This guy "Al" is really a big POS. Fortunetly, I never got burned by this guy, but I'll tell you my experience with him. I e-mailed once, and asked him about bidding on AMG monoblocks for a 300E. He said "No problem, bid away, and you will recieve in about 2 days". I then asked him if I can stop by his "shop" which is supposed to be in NJ (a half hour drive from me)and pick them up, and pay cash--He never responded back. I kept e-mailing to find out if I can stop by his place and pick up rims--never responded. I made a friend of mine e-mail him (under another e-mail address)the same day making believe hes from North Dakota and willing to order rims through e-bay--lo and behold, he responds "sure bid, and you'll have them right away". Obviously this guy is a big crook, which made me stay away. Im sorry to hear what happened to you guys and I hope this mother#^&%$@ is put out of business. I got burnt on e-bay before, but only for 60 bucks--I let it go, too much of a hassle to go after. He can have my 60 bucks--hope he chokes on it.
