Tires For E430
I'm looking for new tires to replace my stock P21555R16 'Conties'. Can I get some advice on what to get? I live in northern Virginia - so some light driving in snow is required. I've read that the following brands are recommended: Yokohama AVSdB, Michelin Pilot Sport A/S, BFG g-force T/A KDWS and Dunlop SP SPort A2 - n anyone have any real experience using these tires? Can you shed any light for me on what I should get considering ride noise, comfort, wet and dry traction? Would you buy any of the above tires again? Thanking all in advance.

every tire you mentioned is a performance all-season tire while they are good you may want to consider a Grand touring all-season tire like the Michelin MXV4 Plus or Turanza LS-H
you can find other options here http://www.tirerack.com/a.jsp?a=AH3&url=/tires/index.jsp

I have a 92 400E and I run 215/55/16 Pilot Sport A/S during the summer. It's an amazing tire, I love it. It's got lots of grip without a harsh ride. I was really afraid of getting too hard of a ride, but the Pilots are amazing. They supposedly will work in light snow, I don't know, I swap my 15s back on for the winter with Blizzaks.

I just put on Nokian NRVs based on excellent reviews by Stu Ritter in the STAR. Very nice tires, quiet, great handling. Probably not good in snow, however, but I saw the light and started using dedicated summer and winter tires instead of all seasons about 4 years ago ...
