Thumbs up mesh wheels

Good evening, long time no post for me. My Dad is coming back from the PI and he got me a set of wheels for my TD. My buddy said that they are original Benzo mesh wheels, size 16 and he said that it has a lip.
Anyone here know which rims they are talking about? Got a pic or a linky to a pic of these wheels? I wanna decide between the 16 or some Vega mesh wheels but they are only 15's. Thanks in advance.

bumpity bump, my cousin sent an email with her webcam and shows the wheels. It looks like the one that is sold by the guy form Puerto Rico. He says it came of a 107 body. anyone know if this will fit the 123 body? TIA.

Those BBS were pretty famous back then and I personally really like BBS wheels on W123's. My first 123 (dad's) had 16" BBS RS wheels and they just looked awesome.

The offset and size are all correct. Not sure if they would fit though. The SL's wheels might be a little too wide for the W123.

Those are some great news Holson. So are those BBS or orig. MB wheels? The pic my cousin sent me had the MB tri thingy on the caps.
Hope she fits.
Anyone know of a good alignment shop in the Bay Area?
Thanks.

BBS might have been dealer installed, not a factory option on a US production car.

Try the alignment place in Mtn View. Someone on the BAD list should know the name. I know how to get there if that helps. Long waiting list.

How's the trans holding up?

Thumbs up

Hi Sixto. I think I know where that place is. Conrad knows that place. Hmmm, wait list you say, might need to pull a few strings.
Tranny is actually still good, very slight degradation.
If the wheels fit, time to get her painted.
Thanks bro.

15 or so years ago there was an 8-spoke ATS wheel that looked really good on a 123 wagon. I've seen a TD in Daly City, CA with these wheels. Might have only come in 14" though.

Cool

Hehehe, I'd rather go with 17's or even 18's on my baby.
I'm going home to visit my daughter this April, might have a look see for Vega wheels. My buddy said they have some Lorinser for sale but I don't like those wheels. I'll take a look if they have those ATS wheels.
