wheel letters question
hi guys,
Could anyone tell me what the letter "H" on the wheels stands for? One of my wheels(steel) is 51/2 J x 14 H2 and the other just 5 1/2 J x 14 ???have the same MB number, but by two different (german) manufacturers....after all, look absolutely identical... Thanx alot! W110 200D `67 |
using the rims on my 16 as an example:
8J x 16H2 ET34 8 = Rim Width (in.) J = Flange Design 16 = Rim Diameter (in.) H2 = Hump Design ET34 = Offset (mm) The Hump Design refers to the ring ledges on the landing shelves of a rim serving for firm retaining of tubeless tire on the wheel. |
