What PSI would you recommend for these tyres on my
S280 1998 UK W140?
As the wheels (18"x8.5") and tyres are larger than normal, I would think that the chart on the petrol cap does not apply.

I also have the same tire psi question, but I have 255/45/18 Dunlop sp 9000's on my S500 instead.

It is the air pressure in the tire, that supports the weight of the vehicle.
The size of the tire does not change that fact.
That's the reason why we add pressure, when we carry heavy loads, i.e. 4 people & luggage, going on vacation.
