Question Will these fit on my SL??

1996 SL500 and Im looking at buying OEM 2003 SL500 wheels, specifically they are 18" x 8.5" in front and 18"x9.5 in back front offset is 30 mm, back offset is 33 mm , Tires are Pirelli Pzero 255/40/ZR18 Front, and Back 285/35/18. Bolt Pattern: 5-112.

What do you guys think?

Also will moving to the 18inch rims make the ride that much worse in terms of comfort and quietness?

No one knows? Im concerned about the offset, although the seller guarantees they will fit.

Offsets in the ballpark

But I'd try and find something with a slightly lower offset. Many in the mid 20s for the rear are perfect, with the fronts being about low 30s is usually the best route. However tire size sounds a lil bit aggresive in sizing. I think 245/40/18 and 275/35/18 are direct replacements. These are a tad bit bigger, will it provide a problem...not sure....i'd ask luke.

No they will not fit correctly the 03 has a different offset and uses differnt lug hardware ... your car uses 12mm and the new model uses 14mm

I got them from http://www.weathertech.com/. They are the WeatherFlectors. They come in regular (closer to 35% tints) and Dark (closer to 10%.) The reason I chose them, is they fit inside the windows' tracks...No exterior tape on, but custom made for your car's door. Not only that, I'm a real fresh air person...so I love having the windows slightly down even when its raining outside.

Thanks again for the compliment. Charlie.
