Looking for 16x7 chrome 8 hole wheels
Anybody know if Mercedes ever made this size for a W124?
Thanks! |

Sure, they were used on 500E's and a similar wheel was used on some of the big bodied cars. I THINK the offset you need is 35. Chiragp would know for sure.
I must point out though, the chroming process weakens the wheels. Also it is very common for the chrome to peel. If you can find a set with the turned and lacquered finish instead of the grey/silver paint, they will look almost as good as chrome. Good luck, |

500e stock came with 16x8 ET34 forged 8-hole painted wheels
not 16x7 I understand that 16x8 500e wheel will fit other W124's w/ 205/55/16 tire. I have a set of (4) 500e 16x8 MB OEM wheels for sale, e-mail if interested. hope this helps tks-fad |

Thanks guys.
I have 4 chrome 500E 16x8 wheels. The rears have 225/50/16 and the fronts 205/55/16. It looks good, but the front outer rim lip sticks out just a hair too far for my taste, so if I can find a set of 4 16x7 wheels, then I'll have 8s in the back and 7s in the front to fit two cars. I'm looking for OEM wheels because I want all 4 to match perfectly. Some of the aftermarket 8 holes don't look quite factory to me. Thanks! Gebhard |
