On ebay at: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=435517355 are a couple of 16 inch MSW rims for Mercedes Benz two 8x16 ET 11, two 7x16 ET 23.
Would these fit my 69 300 SEL 6.3, using 225/50/Z16 tires. I want ultra performance tires as this car will never be driven in the rain or snow (LA). What do you think of the Firehawk SZ50 EP , Kumho ECSTA Supra 12,
Dunlop SP Sport 8000 ?
Thanks, Wayne

Provided they have enough brake clearance they should work the offset is well within and acceptable range. The tire selection that you are considering I think you may want to look at the Potenza RE730 from bridgestone.
Thanks, Luke
